Dubai Design District was set up by official Decree and announced by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum in order to establish Dubai as a global design and fashion hub and tap into the huge potential of the luxury, fashion and interiors industry.
It is believed that Dubai’s design, luxury and fashion industries will grow dramatically, especially due to the huge opportunities from the upcoming Dubai Expo 2020 and the massive increase forecasted in Dubai’s tourism.
